Our very own Catzie Vilayphonh is featured as the newest Tie Theorist on Tie Theory, run by another Lao American making moves, Saengthong Douangdara, who not only designs these chic and fashionable ties, but uses them as a way to give back to the community.

We're joining forces with designer Tony Innouvong to get it in at as many Lao New Year festivals along the East Coast this time around!

After last year's successful reception of "Laos In The House: Voices from Four Decades of the Lao Diaspora", we're helping to curate another exhibition, this time in San Diego!

Today's an especially great day to celebrate all the women that make the world a better place, and we're honored to share that our Creative Director Catzie Vilayphonh is the newest Lao-Diaspora-Of-The-Week feature at Little Laos On the Prairie.

Since 2010 Lao American Writers Summit brought together over 250 writers including poets, playwrights, filmmakers, teachers and policymakers to help promote and support enduring contemporary Lao American literature. Their next convening is taking place this coming May in San Diego.
